State Minister for Information Dr. resigned. Murad Hasan was once the leader of Chhatra Dal. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the demand at a meeting on Monday. At that meeting, a Juba Dal leader opposed it. Many in the BNP criticized Mirza Fakhrul’s statement on Facebook.

BNP reserved seat MP Rumin Farhana has questioned the involvement of one of the party’s top leaders in a public debate.

He made a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday night.

There Rumin writes, ‘Horrible, dirty people like Murad Hasan used to be a student, what is the problem of BNP with this information? On the contrary, the BNP has benefited from this information. This information reveals another aspect of Murad’s character – this guy is awkwardly opportunistic.

He wrote, ‘After the BNP left power in 1996, he joined Chhatra League and became the president of that medical college. After that he became the MP-Minister and proved that the present Awami League has become the scapegoat of the rotten people. The BNP secretary general has unmasked this man and the Awami League on that basis.

Rumin writes: “It simply came to our notice then. But to what extent is it in the best interest of the party to openly engage in an argument with one of the highest office bearers of the party, and even then continue to talk about it on social media? ‘

He further said that after every issue comes up in the ‘market’ we discuss and through this the government covers up another embarrassing issue for him. Even after the Murad issue has come to the fore, we have said that it is being done to cover up the discussion of Madam Zia’s illness. Now we are suppressing the Murad issue by arguing unnecessarily centering on the background of Murad’s student group.

“It’s not a matter of common sense, it’s not a matter of common sense, it’s a matter of common sense, not rocket science.”
