Chargesheet hearing will be held on Monday (November 15) against the three accused in the case filed under the Narcotics Control Act. A charge sheet hearing will be held in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayes. The other two accused in the case are Ashraful Islam Dipu and Kabir Hossain.
Parimani’s lawyer Nilanjana Rifat Souravi confirmed the information. He said the acting judge of the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court, Rabiul Alam, had fixed November 15 for the hearing of the chargesheet.
On October 4, CID inspector Kazi Mostafa Kamal, the investigating officer in the case, filed a chargesheet against the three, including Parimani.
Earlier, on August 31, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayesh granted bail to Parimani. The next day he was released on bail.
On August 4, RAB raided Parimani’s house in Banani. At that time, a large amount of foreign liquor of different brands, liquor bottles and other drugs were seized from his house. On that night, his girlfriend was arrested from Banani’s house and taken to the RAB headquarters for questioning. Later a drug case was filed against him at Banani police station. The court remanded Parimani in custody for four days on August 5 and for two days in the second phase on August 10.
